As I Promised Before : Zorbing Is In Washington Now !

As I always say : " Washington state is "The Ultimate Adventure Travel Destination"

We have EVERYTHING here : mountains, ocean, rain forest, desert...and we have a huge variety of outdoor activities, action sports and adventures. And the list is growing ! Literally ! Just check out the list of activities on your right...

And if we don't have something yet ( like bungee surfing, river bugging, speed flying, airboarding, snow biking...), it's only the matter of time...

Just a few years ago, I wrote about the growing popularity of Zorbing in New Zealand, Europe, and a few places around US.

Unfortunately not in Washington...

But just a year later, we got to try a version of Zorbing ( "Hydro-Zorbing" ) during our annual Puyallup Fair last year.

And now, we have the first official Zorbing destination - a tiny town of Beaver near "the infamous" Forks (another little town best known for "Twilight" movie).

Cojones NW just recently started offering "an American version of this outrageous and addictive adventure".

Just don't get too excited, unlike New Zealand or Europe, you won't be rolling down a huge (almost vertical) grass hill. Instead, you'll be gently rolling down the specially designed 400' track from their 16 feet high staging area. If you are not ( inspiring) adrenaline junky ( like me) , I think it will be just good enough to get your adrenalin pumping :)

Among "non-Twilight" fans, that area ( Forks, Beaver, La Push ) is famous for its year-round surfing opportunities.

So now, you can combine surfing, Zorbing and sightseeing in one weekend-long unforgettable adventure !
